Sysco increases dividend for 45th consecutive year
Sysco Inc (SYY) will raise its dividend by 3.3%.
Dividend Aristocrat Sysco will hike its dividend to $0.31 quarterly, marking 45 consecutive years of dividend increases.
"This dividend increase affirms Sysco's commitment to return value to its stockholders through a combination of dividend payments and share repurchases," said Bill DeLaney, Sysco's president and chief executive officer. "Sysco has paid a quarterly cash dividend every quarter since its founding as a public company in 1970 and has increased its dividend 47 times in that period."
