Kimberly-Clark increases dividend for 45th consecutive year
Kimberly-Clark Corporation (KMB) will raise its dividend by 5.4%.
The quarterly dividend will be increased from $0.92 to $0.97 per share.
This is the 45th consecutive annual increase in the company's dividend. The dividend will be payable on April 4, 2017, to stockholders of record on March 10, 2017.
Last year Dividend Aristocrat KMB raised its dividend by 4.5%. Kimberly-Clark gained 4.1% to close at $121.79 Tuesday. That translates into a new dividend yield of 3.2%.
Kimberly-Clark Corporation is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of a range of products made from natural or synthetic fibers. The Company sells its products under various brands, including Huggies, Pull-Ups, Kotex, Kleenex and Scott.
