Piedmont Natural Gas increases dividend for 37th consecutive year
Piedmont Natural Gas will increases its quarterly dividend by 3%.
The quarterly dividend will be raised from $0,32 to $0,33 per share, marking 37 consecutive years of dividend increases for Piedmont Natural Gas.
From the press release: The Board of Directors of Piedmont Natural Gas (NYSE: PNY) today approved an increase in the Company's dividend for the 37th consecutive year. At its regularly scheduled meeting, the Board declared a quarterly dividend on Common Stock of 33 cents per share, up 3.1% from the previous quarterly dividend of 32 cents per share. The increased dividend is payable April 15, 2015, to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 25, 2015.
Piedmont Natural Gas currently has an indicated dividend yield of 3,6%.
