Clorox increases dividend for 39th consecutive year
Dividend Aristocrat Clorox will raise its quarterly dividend to $0.80 per share, marking 39 years of consecutive dividend increases.
The dividend will be payable on Aug. 12, 2016, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on July 27, 2016.
Total annual dividends paid to Clorox shareholders have increased each year since 1977.
Clorox currently has an estimated dividend yield of 2.4% based on Monday's closing price of $132.
