Amgen hikes dividend by 10.3%
Amgen (AMGN) will raise its quarterly dividend by 10.3 percent to $1.60 per share in the first quarter of 2020. Last year the biotechnology company hiked its dividend by 9.8 percent.
The next dividend will be paid on March 6, 2020, to all stockholders of record as of the close of business on February 14, 2020. A new annualized dividend rate of $6.40 per share yields 2.7% at a stock price of $236.
Since the Company initiated a dividend in 2011, it has increased the dividend each year with the quarterly payout in 2019 up more than five-fold since its inception.
