Universal Health Realty Income Trust hikes dividend by 0.7%
Universal Health Realty Income Trust (UHT) will raise its quarterly dividend by another 0.7 percent to $0.695 per share. This is the second dividend hike announced in 2020 and marks 33 consecutive years of dividend increases by the health care REIT.
The next dividend will be paid on December 31, 2020 to shareholders of record as of December 17, 2020. A new annual rate of $2.76 per share yields 4.3% at a stock price of $64.26.
Last year the real estate investment trust hiked its dividend by a total of 1.5 percent, marking 32 consecutive years of dividend increases. The total dividend increase announced in 2020 is 1.5 percent, matching last year's dividend hike.
Universal Health Realty Income Trust, a real estate investment trust, invests in healthcare and human service related facilities including acute care hospitals, behavioral healthcare facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, sub-acute care facilities, surgery centers, childcare centers and medical office buildings.
