Unum Group hikes dividend by 10%

Unum Group (UNM) will raise its quarterly dividend by 10 percent to 33 cents per share in 2022. This comes after a dividend hike of 5.3 percent to 30 cents per share in 2021 and marks the 14th consecutive year of dividend increases by the financial protection benefits company. 

The next Unum dividend will be paid on August 19, 2022, to stockholders of record as of July 29, 2022. A new annual rate of $1.32 per share for UNM yields 4.1% at a stock price of $32.
