Bank OZK hikes dividend by 3.1%

On October 3, 2022, Bank OZK (OZK) announced that it will raise its quarterly dividend by another 3.1 percent to 33 cents per share. This is the 4th dividend hike announced by OZK in 2022 for a total increase of 13.8%.

The common stock dividend is payable on October 21, 2022 to shareholders of record as of October 14, 2022. Bank OZK has increased its quarterly cash dividend on its common stock in each of the last forty-nine quarters.

Bank OZK’s consistent track record of increasing its common stock dividend has led to it being included in the S&P High Yield Dividend Aristocrats® index since January 2018. The index consists of members of the S&P Composite 1500® that have followed a managed-dividends policy of consistently increasing common stock dividends every year for at least 20 years, and that meet minimum float-adjusted market capitalization and liquidity requirements.

Bank OZK, formerly Bank of the Ozarks, Inc. is a bank holding company. The Company owns a state-chartered subsidiary bank that conducts banking operations in Arkansas, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, New York and California. The company's deposit services, including checking, savings, money market, time deposit and individual retirement accounts and loan services, including real estate, consumer, commercial, industrial and agricultural loans and leasing services. OZK also provides services such as mortgage lending, lock box services and  financial planning and operates ATMs. The company has paid a dividend to shareholders every year since 1998.
