UMB Financial hikes dividend for 33rd consecutive year in 2024

UMB Financial Corporation (UMBF) will raise its quarterly dividend by 2.6% to 40 cents quarterly per share in Q4 of 2024. This will mark 33 straight years of increased dividends by the financial holding company.

The next dividend is payable on January 2, 2025, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 10, 2025. A new annual rate of $1.60 per share yields 1.5% at a stock price of $106.66 for UMBF.

UMB Financial Corporation hiked its dividend by 2.6% in 2023 with the last double digit increase dating back to 2021 when a 15.6% increase was announced by the company. UMBF now pays an estimated $78 million in dividends annually.


UMB Financial Corporation is a financial holding company headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., offering banking services, payment solutions, asset servicing, and institutional investment management to its customers. UMB operates banking and wealth management centers throughout Missouri, Illinois, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Arizona and Texas.
