OTC Markets Group pays another $1.50 special dividend in 2024

OTC Markets Group (OTC) will pay a special cash dividend of $1,50 per share of Class A common stock together with the quarterly cash dividend of $0.18 per share of Class A common stock. 

On November 6, 2024, OTC Markets Group announced that its Board of Directors authorized and approved a special cash dividend of $1.50 per share of Class A Common Stock and a quarterly cash dividend of $0.18 per share of Class A common stock.

The special dividend is payable on December 5, 2024 to stockholders of record on November 21, 2024. The ex-dividend date is November 20, 2024. The quarterly dividend is payable on December 19, 2024 to stockholders of record on December 5, 2024. The ex-dividend date is December 4, 2024.

At a stock price of $52 the regular dividend yields 1.4%. The special dividend yields 2.9%. The good thing is that OTC Markets also paid $1.50 per share special dividends in 2023 and 2022 and 2021, with smaller special dividend paid prior to those years.

Other companies announcing special dividends last week are American Financial Group and RLI Corp.
