KLA Corp hikes dividend by 17.2% to $1.70 quarterly
On November 7, 2024, semiconductor company KLA Corporation (KLAC) announced a 17.2% dividend hike to $1.70 quarterly per share. This marks the 15th consecutive year of increases by KLAC.
The KLA Corporation (KLAC) Board of Directors today declared a quarterly cash dividend of $1.70 per share on its common stock, payable on Dec. 3, 2024 to KLA shareholders of record as of the close of business on Nov. 18, 2024.
At a stock price of $687 the dividend yield for KLA Corp is 1.0%. KLA now pays an estimated $914 million annual dividend. Last year the dividend was hiked by 11.5%. If we include this latest dividend hike the 5 year CAGR jumps to 14.9%.
Earlier this week Microchip Technology announced its fourth dividend hike for 2024. KLA Corp peer Lam Research had already announced a 15% dividend hike for 2024.
KLA Corporation, formerly KLA-Tencor Corporation, is a supplier of process control and yield management solutions for the semiconductor and related nanoelectronics industries. The company's products are also used in a number of other high technology industries, including the packaging, light emitting diode (“LED”), power device, compound semiconductor, and data storage industries, as well as general materials research. KLAC was founded in 1997 through the merger of KLA Instruments and Tencor Instruments, two long-time leaders in the semiconductor equipment industry that began operations in 1975 and 1976, respectively. In 2019 the company changed its name from KLA-Tencor to KLA Corporation.
