Aimco pays $0.60 special dividend
Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIV) will pay a special cash dividend of $0.60 per share in 2025. The residential REIT does not pay regular dividends. The dividend yield is 7.2%.
Aimco previously stated that it planned to return the net proceeds from these sales to shareholders during the first quarter of 2025. As such, on December 19, 2024, Aimco's Board of Directors declared a special cash dividend in the amount of $0.60 per share to be paid on January 31, 2025, to holders of record as of January 14, 2025.
AIV last paid a (special) dividend of $0.02 per share back in 2022. The regular quarterly dividend was cut in 2021. At a stock price of $8.32 the dividend yields 7.2% to AIV shareholders.
