Amgen hikes dividend by 5.8% to $2.38 quarterly
Amgen (AMGN) will raise its quarterly dividend by 5.8 percent to $2.38 per share in the first quarter of 2025. Last year the biotechnology company hiked its dividend by 5.6 percent. This new dividend hike marks 13 consecutive years of increased dividends.
On December 10, 2024, Amgen announced that its Board of Directors declared a $2.38 per share dividend for the first quarter of 2025. The dividend will be paid on March 7, 2025, to all stockholders of record as of the close of business on February 14, 2025. A new annualized dividend rate of $9.52 per share yields 3.45% at a stock price of $275.
The five year CAGR for the Amgen dividend drops to 8.3% with the last double digit increase dating back to 2021 (+10.2%).
