Equity Residential hikes dividend by 2.6%

Equity Residential (EQR) will hike its quarterly dividend by 2.6% 69.25 cents per share in 2025. This marks the 4th consecutive year of increases by EQR. The dividend yield is 3.9%.

Equity Residential (NYSE: EQR) today announced that its Board of Trustees declared quarterly dividends on the Company’s common and preferred shares. A regular common share dividend for the first quarter of $0.6925 per share will be paid on April 17, 2025 to shareholders of record on March 31, 2025. The annualized dividend of $2.77 per share is a 2.6% increase over the Company’s 2024 common share dividend.

A quarterly dividend of $1.03625 per share will be paid on March 31, 2025 to shareholders of record on March 21, 2025 of the Company’s Series K Preferred Shares. The dividend yield for EQR is 3.95% at a stock price of $70.17.
